Funeral for Raymond D. Loosier, 61, of Priceville will be Saturday, February 5, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Curt Stanford officiating.
Burial will be in Burningtree Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be Saturday from 12 noon until 1 p.m.
Mr. Loosier died Wednesday, February 2, 2011, at his residence. He was born December 26, 1949, in Lawrence County to Horace Raymond Loosier and Martha Frances Reeves Loosier. He was a member of Smyrna Baptist Church in Courtland and served in the Vietnam War as a Spec. 5 Sergeant in the Army. He retired from G.E. after 26 years of service. He was a family man who loved his children and grandchildren and he will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Baldwin Loosier; a son, Brian Loosier and wife Amanda of Trinity; four stepsons, James Ray Smith of Priceville, Michael D. Smith and wife Amy of Danville, Don Allen Smith and wife Sherri of Addison and Barry M. Smith and wife Lynnette of Hartselle; two daughters, Derenda Muston and husband Brent Graves of Trinity and Cindy Eddy and husband Michael of Hartselle; two brothers, Craig Loosier and Dewaine Loosier and wife Billy Joe, all of Courtland; a sister, Sue Lunn and husband Ray of Priceville; and 22 grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Allen Smith, Barry Smith, Tyler Muston, Zak Smith, Drake Smith, Michael Smith, Michael Eddy and Keith Glenn.
