Mac McAnally at Princess Theatre

The Princess Theatre Center for the Performing Arts presents An Evening with Mac McAnally on Friday, Feb. 25, 2011 at 7:30 p.m.  The acoustic concert is a special event to celebrate The Year of Alabama Music and is made possible by a grant from the Alabama State Council on the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts. McAnally is a celebrated songwriter, guitarist, vocalist and producer.  He has been recognized as CMA’s Musician of the Year for three consecutive years and has recorded 10 albums, all for major labels.  He is a member of Jimmy Buffet’s touring Coral Reefer band and has also produced several of Buffet’s albums and written many of his songs.  In 2007, he was in-ducted in the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame.  In 2010, the Alabama Music Hall of Fame while the Country Music Association named him Musician of the Year.  He continues to own and operate his own recording studio in Muscle Shoals.
