Ron Worthy, Hartselle

Feb. 8, 2011

Funeral for Ron Worthy, 70, of Hartselle will be Friday, Feb, 11, at 1 p.m. at Son Rise Baptist Church with the Rev. Brian Bridges officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Burial will be in Herring Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday, Feb. 10, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Mr. Worthy died Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2011, at his residence. He was born June 2, 1940, in Morgan County to Rayton Worthy and Helen Sides Worthy.

He is survived by his wife, Becky Worthy; four sons, Brad Isbell, Joe Isbell and Steven Isbell, all of Hartselle and Ronnie Worthy; three daughters, Cathy Hall, Rhonda Eagle of Anniston and Suzanne Webb; a brother, Donnie Worthy of Anniston; and two sisters, Dana Woolf of Tenn. and Tina Worthy of Pelham.

Pallbearers will be Blake Worthy, Greg Tomlin, Preston Grammer, Tim Hall, Matt Hobbs, Raton Worthy, Ron Bell and Jeremy Stewart.

Honorary pallbearers will be Robin Bell and Robbie Bell.
