Ruby Marie Cole Hightower, Falkville

Feb. 8, 2011

Funeral for Ruby Marie Cole Hightower, 81, of Falkville will be Friday, Feb. 11, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Nathan Green and Sister Rachel Westmoreland officiating.

Burial will be in Bell Springs Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday, Feb. 10, from 6-9 p.m.

Mrs. Hightower died Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2011, at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born Sept. 8, 1929, in Morgan County to William George Cole and Sarah Wildman Cole. She was a member of Faith Chapel Praise Center.

She is survived by a son, James Ronnie Hightower and wife Brenda of Falkville; three brothers, Bud Cole and Lee Cole of Hartselle and John Cole of Falkville; two sisters, Kathleen Wood and Ester Sanders, both of Hartselle; two grandchildren, Shannon Owens and husband Tommy and Donyale Wooten; and three great-grandchildren, Mary Claire Wooten, A1C Clint Owens and McKenzie Leigh Smithson.

Pallbearers will be Clinton Heath Owens, Tim Cole, Tommy Ray Lackey, Ronnie Hightower, Wade Johnson, Mike Wood and Lynn Wood.
