Morgan County needs your help
The Morgan County Department of Human Resources wants you to “Open Your Heart Open Your Home” to foster and adoptive children!
As we did last year during the month of February, every county in Alabama will be spreading the word about the need for foster and adoptive families. In Morgan County alone, there are approximately 125 children in our legal custody.
Group Preparation and Selection (GPS) orientation will be held on Tuesday, February 26th from 9 a.m. until noon at the DHR office in Decatur. These are the classes that you will need in order to foster and/or adopt a child through our agency. The group will meet for ten weeks for three hours per week.
