Funeral for Douglas “Doug” Wayne Harris, 48, of Hartselle will be Friday, February 25, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ralph Henderson officiating.
Burial will be in Burningtree Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be Thursday, February 24, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Harris died Tuesday, February 22, 2011. He was born May 14, 1962, in Morgan County to Herschel Hulet Harris and Essie L. Vinzant Harris. He was preceded in death by his father.
He is survived by a daughter, Jennifer LeeAnn Cameron and husband Jeff of Hartselle; his mother, Essie L. Harris of Hartselle; a brother, Dennis H. Harris and wife Terri of Hartselle; a sister, Denise Harris of Hartselle; a grandchild, McKinzie LeeAnn Cameron; two nieces, Kirby Harris and Tiffany Wade and husband Alex; and a nephew, Payton Harris.
