Funeral for Farron Dean Cooper, 54, of Falkville will be Friday, February 25, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with James Bryan Vest and Matthew Buerhaus officiating.
Burial will be in Herring Cemetery with Military Honors.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Mr. Cooper died Tuesday, February 22, 2011, at UAB Medical Center in Birmingham. He was born July 18, 1956, in Morgan County to Marvin Dean Cooper and Margie Imogene Dobbins Cooper. He was a welder/pipefitter with the Local #377 employed by Brown Mechanical. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran and a loving husband, father, brother and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Charles Ray Cooper.
He is survived by his wife, Janice Cooper of Falkville; a son, Jonathan Alexander Cooper of Falkville; three daughters, Charity Allen and husband Kelly of Cullman, Misty Buerhaus and husband Matthew of Florence and Allie Kristen Cooper of Falkville; a stepson, Wendell Morgan of Kentucky; a stepdaughter, Regina Jones of Decatur; a sister, Alene Vest and husband Wayne of Falkville; and eight grandchildren, Haleigh, Micah, Sydney, Matthew, Mason, Isabella, Cooper and Mollie.
Pallbearers will be Thomas Cooper, Caleb Vest, Tim Lingle, Johnnie Dobbins, Travis Shankle and Jeffery Shankle.
