Funeral for Cathryn Hilda Jones, 83, of Valhermoso Springs will be Wednesday, March 2, at 2 p.m. at Valhermoso Springs First Christian Church with Peck Funeral Home directing.

Her body will be at the church one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Jones died Sunday, Feb. 27 at her residence. She ws born January 20, 1928, in Valhermoso Springs to Luther and Ruth McAnally. She was preceded in death by her eldest son, Randy.

She is survived by two brothers, David and Elliott McAnally; three children, Byron, Dwight and Elizabeth Jones; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, she desired donations be made to ministries that further the gospel of Jesus Christ and Operation Smile, 6435 Tidewater Drive, Norfolk, Virginia, 23509, an organization that provides free surgeries to repair facial deformities for children around the globe.
