Funeral for Katie May Cockrell, 67, of Decatur was Sunday, March 6, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Robert Dempsey officiating.
Burial was in New Friendship Cemetery.
Mrs. Cockrell died Thursday, March 3, 2011. She was born October 9, 1943, in Morgan County to Carol T. Bradley Sr. and Clistie Abner Bradley. She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by three sons, James Edward Cockrell of Hartselle, Jody Cockrell and wife Linda of Trinity and Ed Bradley of Tuscaloosa; four brothers, Carl T. Bradley of Moulton, Lee Bradley and Charlie Bradley, both of Danville and Ricky Bradley of Mulliken, Mich.; three sisters, Kathy Spry of Athens, Teresa Bates and Virginia Bradley of Gadsden; and seven stepgrandchildren.
Pallbearers were nephews.
