Funeral for Merlene Earls, 62, of Hartselle will be Tuesday, March 8, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bill Allen officiating.
Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
Visitation will be Monday, March 7, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Earls died Saturday, March 5, 2011, at Huntsville Hospital. She was born August 19, 1948, in Cullman County to Hubert Truman Denney and Lachrisher Baxter Denney. She was of the Baptist faith and was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Earnie Kenneth Earls Jr.
She is survived by her husband, Earnie K. Earls of Hartselle; a son, Kevin Dee Earls of Hartselle; a daughter, Melinda Diane Harris of Orlando, Fla.; a brother, Charles T. Denney; and a granddaughter, Piper Harris.
Pallbearers will be Dustin Earls, Noah Earls, Jonathan Hagood, Austin Hagood, Jason West and Adam Shadden.
