This week’s cooking and household  tips:
Want tomato gravy, but do not want to make it? Spoon tomato sauce over hamburger buns or hot dog buns.
Instead of using catsup on hamburgers and hot dogs, use tomato sauce mixed with pickle relish.
To save money on buying paper goods such as paper towels and bathroom paper, buy them at discount stores. Also, buy cleaning supplies at these stores.
Make a file of household hits, health hints and other hints cut from magazines. Put these hints on index cards and place them in a file box.
Instead of buying gift bags to put gifts in, use tins that popcorn comes in.  Use the popcorn tins also to store magazines in.  They can also be used for waste baskets.
