Funeral for Martha Earline Jones, 74, of Hartselle will be Saturday, March 26, at 2 p.m. at Christ Fellowship Church with Bro. Danny Garrison officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial will be Falkville City Cemetery.
Visitation will be Saturday, March 26, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the church.
Ms. Jones died Thursday, March 17, 2011, at her residence. She was born January 13, 1937, in Morgan County to William Earl McCaig and Viola Wallace McCaig. She was a member of Christ Fellowship Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Jack McCaig and Charles McCaig; and a sister, Carrie Nell McCaig.
She is survived by a son, Michael Bates and wife Teresa of Hartselle; a daughter, Vicki Hamilton and husband Marlon of Hartselle; a brother, Robert McCaig of Falkville; three sisters, Betty Holmes and husband Sonny of Decatur, Becky Overton and husband Charles of Hartselle and Sandra Mason and husband Dale of Falkville; three grandsons, David Garner and Dustin Bates and wife Maria, all of Decatur and Tyler Bates and wife Montana of Hartselle; two granddaughters, Brandi Garner and fiancee’ Andy Compton of Decatur and Devin Odell and husband Nathaniel of Hartselle; great-grandson, Christoher Garner of Decatur; and three great-granddaughters, Shelby Moore and Sydney Garner, both of Decatur and Jada Odell of Hartselle.
