Kenneth Lamar Anders
Funeral for Kenneth Lamar Anders, 61, of Hartselle will be Thursday, March 24, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bill Dobbs officiating.
Burial will be in Herring Cemetery.
Visitation will be 1 p.m. to service time on Thursday, March 24, at the funeral home.
Mr. Anders died Saturday, March 19, 2011. He was born July 30, 1949, in Morgan County to Perry DeWitt Anders and Mary Orthy Sandlin Anders. He owned and operated Kenneth Anders Logging Company. He was a simple, honest, hard working man who loved spending time with his family especially his wonderful grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Oden Anders; a son, Kenneth Lucas Anders and wife Brittany of Hartselle; a daughter, Kellie Tanner and husband James of Danville; two sisters, Kathy Gandy and husband Allen of Falkville and Ann Brown and husband Rayburn of Danville; three grandchildren, Allie Anders, Arlie and Louden Tanner; and a granddaughter that is to be born in May.
Pallbearers will be Chris Gandy, Tim Brown, Charlie Gandy, Allen Jenkins, Nick Faulkner, Jim Mack Burchell, Harlon Baker and Jimmy Steele.
Honorary pallbearers will be Phil Wilhite, Billy Wynn, William Latham, Jerry Anders and Charlie Crow.
