Mission accomplished
Let the celebration begin.
Our annual Progress Edition entitled “Celebration of the Arts” is on newsstands today.
Everyone on our staff has put in some long hours over the last month to put this major project together and I think we did a great job. Today’s edition is nearly three times larger than what it usually is.
As you can tell, that means we’ve had three times the amount of work in a short period of time.
At times, it’s felt like the project would never end, as it usually does when you take on a big project. But when you get finished with a big project like this, there’s usually a big sense of pride when you get it complete.
I’d like to thank all of you who helped us put this together, from our staff members to the people we interviewed and our advertisers,.
I’d encourage you to take some time and read this section.
Once you get done, please feel free to give us feedback, what we did right and what are things we can work on for next year.
Send me an email at brent.maze@hartselleenquirer.com or send us a letter.
We have a lot of talent right here in our own backyard and I am happy that we were able to showcase it in our newspaper today.
Also, please continue to support our advertisers, without whom none of this would have been possible. Tell them that you saw their ad in the newspaper.
I hope you enjoy this edition. And hopefully it encourages you to experience and enjoy our local art scene.
