Man charged with marijuana possession

A Lacey’s Spring man is facing drug charges following an investigation and search of two Morgan County residences last week.
Jerry Wayne Fielder, 62, of Lacey’s Spring was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana in the first degree. His bond was set at $40,000.
On March 30, agents with the Morgan County Drug Task Force, Alabama Beverage Control drug unit and the Decatur Organized Crime Unit executed narcotics search warrants at 7 Matkin Cove Road and 274 Luker Road in Lacey’s Spring. Arrests are expected.
