Funeral for Louise Smith White, 94, of Falkville will be Wednesday, April 13, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Charles “Chuck” Oden and Bobby Smith officiating.
Burial will be in New Friendship Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday, April 12, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. White died Monday, April 11, 2011, at Summerford Nursing Home. She was born October 18, 1916, in Lawrence County to Eugene Smith and Litha Cagle Smith. She was a wonderful cook and a very faithful member of Point Mallard Parkway Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow W. White; a son, Michael Lynn White; and a daughter, Linda Atkins.
She is survived by a son, Bobby J. White and wife Edna; two daughters, Pat Maze and husband Bill and Becky Russell and husband Don, all of Hartselle; a son-in-law, Charles Atkins of Priceville; and a daughter-in-law, Bonnie Vaughn and husband Tommy of Priceville; 10 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Joe White, Rusty White, Matt Maze, Darryl Terry, David Maze, Ryan Russell, Eric Russell and Patrick Maze.
