Funeral for Welton Leon “Flash” Hankins, 46, of Falkville was Monday, April 11, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Chris Champion officiating.
Burial was in Hartselle Memory Gardens.
Mr. Hankins died Friday, April 8, 2011. He was born April 4, 1965, to Welton Hankins and Gaytha Christine Holmes Hankins. He was saved and last attended service at Somerville Baptist Church and was also attending RU (Reformers Unanimous) at Somerville Baptist. He was employed at N&W Metals of Decatur as a demolition expert. He loved his family and was preceded in death by his father.
He is survived by his wife, Robin Hankins of Falkville; a son, Jeffery Ray Hankins and wife Lacey of Falkville; his mother, Gaytha Christine Hankins of Falkville; two sisters, Linda Hankins Selby of Falkville and Trig Hankins of Baileyton; two grandchildren, Aiden and Stormie Shyanne Hankins; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Zach Murphy, Tony Cobb, Jason Allen, Rex Price, Jay Morgan and Jarred Pucket.
