Funeral for Paul Albert Rowe Jr., 85, of Falkville will be Saturday, April 16, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Kerry Cleghorn and Greg Burcham officiating.
Visitation will be Friday, April 15, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Falkville City Cemetery.
Mr. Rowe died Wednesday, April 13, 2011, at Hartselle Medical Center. He was born November 24, 1925, in Lawrence County to Paul Albert Rowe Sr. and Minnie Merle Fuqua Rowe, who preceded him in death. He was married to Frances Marie Moore Rowe for 66 years and was a deacon in First Baptist Church of Falkville. He enjoyed his garden, keeping his lawn and his woodworking.
He is survived by his wife, Frances Moore Rowe; a son, Paul A. Rowe III and wife Frances of Falkville; two daughters, Judy Rowe Gover and husband Charlie of Falkville and Frances Rowe Patrick and husband Larry of Albany, Ga.; six grandchildren, Tony Patrick and wife Stephanie, Jeremy Patrick and wife Shanna, Sallye Swafford and husband Mike, Pick Rowe and wife Mandy, Emily Gover and Lauren Gover; and five great-grandchildren, Taylor Patrick, Madison Patrick, Kristopher Strawder, Maeleigh Rowe and Bennan Swafford.
Pallbearers will be Tony Patrick, Taylor Patrick, Jeremy Patrick, Pick Rowe, Mike Swafford and Dustin Killen.
