Funeral for Danielle Downs, 24, of Priceville was Monday, May 2, at 3 p.m. at Annunciation Of The Lord Catholic Church in Decatur with Father Ray Remke officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial was in Johnson Chapel Cemetery.
Miss Downs died Wednesday, April 27, 2011, at her residence in Tuscaloosa. She was born December 7, 1986, in Alexandria, La. to Edward Wayne Downs and Terri Linn Bordelon Downs. She was slated to graduate from the University of Alabama in May, 2011. She was an aspiring Social Work Major who enjoyed helping others.
She is survived by her parents, Ed and Terri Downs of Priceville; a sister, Michelle Downs of Priceville; and her grandmother, Inez Bordelon of Alexandria, La.
Pallbearers were Jimmy Downs, Herman Singleton Sr., Clint Leopold, Stephen Doud, Logan Cahill and P.J. Giordano.
