Funeral for Tommy Gene Steele, 40, of Cullman will be Wednesday, May 11, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Chuck Smith and Truman Shaddrix officiating.
Burial will be in Somerville Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday, May 10, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Steele died Sunday, May 8, 2011, at his residence. He was born December 21, 1970, in Morgan County. He attended First Faith Church in Falkville, enjoyed hunting, loved the Atlanta Braves and was a huge Alabama fan.
He is survived by his son, Taylor Lee Steele of Hartselle; his father, Sherman E. Steele of Falkville; his mother, Marveline Rusk and his stepfather, Buehl Rusk; and a brother, John Steele of Bowling Green, Kentucky.
Pallbearers will be Brian Rusk, David Rusk, Scotty Abbott, Danny Steele, Chuck Lloyd and Phillip Smith.
