I hope everyone enjoyed a wonderful Mother’s Day. The weather was great so many could take advantage of outdoor activities.
Continue to remember those affected by the recent tornadoes in your prayers. Many are still coping with the loss of family and friends as well as the loss of their homes.
Christian love and sympathy is extended to the families of Ruth Hanners Brooks, Danielle Downs, Will Stevens, Chris Dunn, Edsel Hopper Patterson and Donald Hann.
There is still time if you would like to purchase a space on the Wall of Honor in Memory and Honor at New Center Baptist Church. This is a great way to honor or remember that special someone. The spaces are $80 each. All proceeds go to the Church Building Fund.

Congratulations to Kara Ashlen Begemann who graduated from Pensacola Junior College this week with a bachelor of science degree in elementary education.
Homecoming and Decoration Day will be observed at New Center Baptist Church on Sunday, May 15. There will be no Sunday school. The worship service will begin at 9:45 a.m. with solo and congregational singing, preaching will follow at 11 a. m. and a covered dish lunch will be served after worship. There will be no afternoon or evening services.
