Funeral for Billy H. Cook, 70, of Decatur will be Saturday, May 14, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mason Booth officiating.

Burial will be in Burningtree Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be Friday, May13, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Cook died Tuesday, May 10, 2011, at Decatur General Hospital. He was born February 1, 1941, in Morgan County to Gillard George Cook and Violet Magnolia Terry Cook. He was a member of Neel United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, John Oneal Wilhite.

He is survived by his wife, Elaine K. Cook of Decatur; three daughters, Cindy Spahr and husband Ronald of Decatur, Julie Cook of Toney and Jennifer Lacy and husband Roger of Danville; a sister, June Terry Barnes of Hartselle; and six grandchildren, Clair Tarlton, Kayla Cook, Courtney Spahr, Travis Lacy, Rochelle Lacy and Brittney Spahr.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
