Funeral for Unzell Livingston, 72, of Eva will be Wednesday, May 18, at 2 p.m. at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church with the Revs. Bobby Smith and Billy Teague officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday, May 17, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Livingston died Monday, May 16, 2011, at her home. She was born August 28, 1938, in Morgan County to Elmie and Draper Taylor Sr. She was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Brenda Taylor and Voncille Alford; and two brothers, J.D. Taylor and Kenneth Taylor.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Roland “Smokey” Livingston; a son, Brandon Livingston and wife Lori of Eva; two daughters, Terri Hightower and husband Kenneth of Hartselle and Daphne Sloas and husband Darren of Eva; a brother, Duane Taylor of Falkville; four grandchildren, Brandi Hughes and husband Tim of Athens, Cody and Camron Sloas and Kendall Livingston, all of Eva; and two stepchildren, Chelsee and Jalyn Campbell, both of Eva.
Pallbearers will be Derrick White, Brandon Livingston, Darren Sloas, Kenneth Hightower, Ronnie Taylor, Cody Sloas, Jim Morgan and Tim Hughes.
Honorary pallbearers will be Camron Sloas, Jalyn Campbell, Ricky Childers and Charles Workman.
