Funeral for C.W. Gibson, 75, of Somerville was Monday, May 23, at Peck Funeral Home Chapel at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Ronnie Bullard officiating.
Burial was in Pines Cemetery.
Mr. Gibson died Friday, May 20, 2011. He was born September 16, 1935, to Charlie Gibson and Ada Gray “Kirkham” Gibson. He was retired from 3M as a maintenance mechanic and was park coordinator at Danny Ray Huskey Park for several years.
He is survived by his wife, Connie Gibson of Somerville; three daughters, Melinda Gibson of Madison, Donna Dadd of Huntsville and Andrea Gibson of Somerville; a brother, Bill Gibson of Grove Hill; a sister, Eva Salter of Monroeville; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Robert Truss, Randy Townsend, Verlie Benefield, Ken Benefield, Nathan Truss and Bo Truss.
