Funeral for Edna Grantland, 80, of Somerville was Saturday, May 21, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. P.J. Jenkins officiating.

Burial was in Mount Tabor Cemetery.

Mrs. Grantland died Thursday, May 19, 2011, at Parkway Medical Center. She was born December 5, 1930, in Morgan County to Dayton Merrel Mason and Carrie Jones Mason. She was preceded in death by a brother, Henry Mason.

She is survived by three sons, Jack Grantland of Hartselle, David Grantland of Somerville and Larry Grantland of Trinity; two daughters, Denise Waters of Somerville and Carrie Grantland of Decatur; five brothers, Douglas Mason, Kenneth Mason and Jerry Mason, all of Somerville, Bob Mason of South an Joe Mason of Hartselle; four sisters, Ollie Kate Massey of Hartselle, Sue Anderson and Pauline Edwards, both of Somerville and Judy Mason of Huntsville; 19 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were family and friends.
