Hartselle finishes spring training

The Hartselle football team finished its spring training last week with Red-White scrimmage game at J.P. Cain Stadium.

The Red team won the low-scoring game 10-7.

Football coach Bob Godsey said he was pleased with his team’s performance during the spring.

“We always use our 10 days in the spring to focus on the running game, both offensively and defensively,” Godsey said. “You didn’t see much passing out there today, but from here forward, that’s what we’ll be working on.”
