Funeral for Mary Grace Pridmore Henry, of Somerville will be Wednesday, May 25, at 11 a.m. at Shiloh Baptist Church with Dr. Charles Owens Sr. officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Burial will be in Cedar Creek Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday, May 24, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Shiloh Baptist Church.
Mrs. Henry died Sunday, May 22, 2011, at her residence. She was born in Morgan County to Gordon Pridmore Sr. and Claris Christine Briscoe Pridmore. He was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church, enjoyed studying the Bible, particularly the Beth Moore Precept studies and was a prayer warrior and wonderful encourager. She was an advocate for other cancer patients and was a loving wife, mother and granddaughter.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Hoyt Henry; two daughters, Tammie Kay Henry Bentley and husband Ronnie of Eva and Patti Lynne Henry Wilkins and husband Donny of Decatur; two brothers, Donnie Neil Pridmore of Toney and Danny “Butch” Hue Pridmore of Cullman; a sister, Martha Sue Pridmore Shelton of Eva; and four grandchildren, Matthew Bentley, Tyler Bently, Greyson Wilkins and Malachi Wilkins.
Pallbearers will be Malachi Wilkins, Greyson Wilkins, Tyler Bentley, Gary Ryan, Charlie Pridmore, Will Catoe, Carl Tucker and Brad Curbow.
