Priceville man dies after car crash
A Priceville man died in the hospital on Friday after being in a single-vehicle crash May 27, in which his vehicle struck a house on Northeast Thompson Road just south of Priceville town limits.
Christopher Dale Parker, 36, was traveling in his Toyota Camry at 10 a.m. May 27 when he lost control of the vehicle in a curve and struck a home, according to Trooper Curtis Summerville.
Parker was transported to Huntsville Hospital following the crash and remained there until he died June 3. The crash report indicated that the victim was not wearing his seat belt, Summerville added.
Parker was laid to rest on Sunday, June 5.
He is survived by his wife, Hollie Parker of Priceville; two daughters, Grace Parker and Emily Parker; his parents, Bobby Parker of Somerville and Debbie McLemore of Hartselle; three brothers, Jeffrey Parker of Priceville, Jeremy Parker of Priceville and Alan Parker of Somerville.
