Funeral for Bob Gibson, 75, of Danville was Monday, June 6, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Hollis Gardner officiating.

Burial was in New Hope #2 Cemetery in Cullman County.

Mr. Gibson died Thursday, June 2, 2011, at Decatur General Hospital. He was born Dec. 17, 1935, in New York to James Gibson and Mabel Austin Gibson.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Lee Yearwood Gibson of Danville; two sons, Roger Gibson and wife Jan of Cummings, Ga., and Eric Gibson and wife Zann of Douglasville, Ga.; three daughters, Karen Gibson and husband Bill of Sieria Vista, Ariz., Wendy Stanley and husband Ed of Kennesaw, Ga., and Jennifer Olson of Aspen, Colo.; a stepson, Leo Yearwood and wife Debbie of Cullman County; two sisters, Julie Pendleton of Rushville, N.Y., and Lois Gibson and husband Kent of Dundee, N.Y.; 12 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Pallbearers were family and friends.
