Edward L. Stephens

A graveside service for Edward L. Stephens, 75, of Addison was Tuesday, June 7, at 1 p.m. at Friendship Baptist Church at Upshaw with the Revs. Glenn Wood and Donnie Carroll officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Stephens died Saturday, June 4, 2011, at Brookwood Medical Center. He was born May 8, 1936, in Winston County to Louis William Stephens and Vergie Denton Stephens. He was a professional truck driver for Walmart Distribution and was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by two sons, Mike E. Stephens and Bryan K. Stephens, both of Cullman; two grandchildren, Alexis Michael Stephens and Samantha Jo Filway; and three great-grandchildren, Emma, Brodie and Jaycie.

Pallbearers were family and friends.
