James “Buckshot” Keiffer Jr.

Funeral for James “Buckshot” Keiffer Jr., 45, of Somerville will be Sunday, June 19, at 3 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel.

Visitation will be Saturday, June 18, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Keiffer died Wednesday, June 15, 2011, at Hartselle Medical Center. He was born October 10, 1965, in Germany to James Leonard Keiffer Sr. and Shirley Jean Spurger Keiffer.

He is survived by his wife, Kandy Lynn Keiffer; three daughters, Deborah Ann Liles of La., Barbi Simons of Decatur and Kaci Chitwood of Texas; two brothers, Kenneth Earl Keiffer and Michael Orvis Keiffer, both of Texas; a sister, Lorrie Murray of Texas; and seven grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
