Hartselle Camp Meeting continues through Friday

The 112th encampment of Hartselle Camp Meeting Association will continue through Friday, June 24, at the town’s historic tabernacle with services at 10:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. each day.

Camp evangelists are Jon Tal Murphree, a professor, author and evangelist from Tacoa, Ga., and Tom Tanner, senior pastor at RiverStone Church in Marietta, Ga.  Murphree is scheduled to preach Thursday (today) at the morning service and Tanner will be in the pulpit at the evening service and again Friday morning. Rob Cain, association president and senior pastor of The Lighthouse in Tuscaloosa, will close the meeting Friday evening.

Minister of music is Rex Looney, minister of music at Cross Pointe Church in Madison.

A full-day program of activities is provided for kids. “Kid’s World “ is conducted at 9 a.m. each day, followed by a recreation activity at 1 p.m. and arts and crafts at 6 p.m.

The camp schedule includes home-style breakfast, lunch and supper cooked and served tin he camp dining hall each day.
