City Hall renovations cause inconvenience
Those needing to do business at Hartselle City Hall will have to deal with inconveniences over the next couple of weeks as the city is renovating city hall for the first time in many years.
For the last week, many of the city’s administrative offices including the city clerk’s office and the mayor’s office have been temporarily moved into the auditorium because of the renovations.
It has also caused the last city council meeting and the last court session to be moved to Sparkman Civic Center.
This is the second phase of the renovations of City Hall. The first phase renovated several offices and the auditorium, which now has a separate entrance for city leaders and judicial officials from the general public entrance in the back of the auditorium.
