Marvin Hillard Gurganus
Funeral service for Marvin Hillard Gurganus, 93, of Falkville will be Tuesday, June 28, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Pastors Stanley Ryan and Rob Gurganus officiating.
Burial will be in Hartselle Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be Monday, June 27, from 6 p.m. at 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Gurganus died Saturday, June 25, 2011, at his residence. He was born September 27, 1917, in Walker County to L.T. Gurganus and Marietta Gurganus. He was a member of Falkville Church of Christ and he served in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife, Opal Gurganus; a son, Roy Gurganus and wife Pat; three daughters, Rebecca Burnside of Falkville, Margaret O’Rourke and Becky Burnside and husband Lucky; and two stepsons, Glenn Snow and Charles Snow.
Pallbearers will be Josh Burnside, Jacob Burnside, Darrin Qualls, Caleb Pilgrim, Troy Cardwell and Darryl Gurganus.
