Church installs new minister

First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) recently installed its new minister, the Rev. Jeremy Harbin, as pastor.

Harbin has served as a licensed minister for congregations in Athens, Ala. and Tuskegee, Ala. for six years. He is a graduate student at Auburn University-Montgomery and a theological student at the Missouri School of Religion.

He is the proud father of three toddlers, Conner, Oz and Charlie, and husband to Mandy Harbin.

Harbin said he is excited about his new ministry in Hartselle and he looks forward to serving the community with the peace and love of Christ.
