A private family graveside service for Earl Preston Cook Jr, 78, of Moulton will be Tuesday, July 19, 2011, at Hartselle City Cemetery with Dr. Jeff Redmond officiating.
There will be no visitation.
Mr. Cook died Sunday, July 17, 2011, at his residence. He was born June 17, 1933, in Nashville, Tenn. to Earl Preston Cook Sr. and Kathryn Belcher Booth Cook. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Hartselle and owned and operated Earl Cook Trucking.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Cook of Moulton; two sons, Stan Cook and wife Sharon of Enterprise and Van Cook of Trinity; four grandchildren, Tyler Cook of Moulton and Nicklaus Cook, Preston Cook and Zachary Cook, all of Enterprise.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Gideons.
