Funeral for Michael Posey, 50, of Olive Branch will be Thursday, July 21, at 1:00 p.m. at Speake Christian Fellowship Church with Bros. Francis Proctor and Jonathan Proctor officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery (south of Danville).
Visitation will be Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m. at Speake Christian Fellowship Church.
Mr. Posey died Monday, July 18, 2011, at Citizens Baptist Hospital. He was born January 5, 1961, in Morgan County to Harold Dennis Posey and Martha Sue Brown Posey. He was formerly from Speake.
He is survived by his wife, Tammie Posey of Olive Branch, Miss.; two sons, Jeremiah Posey and Dustin Posey, both of Mount Olive; his parents and three brothers, Tony Posey of Moulton and Ricky Posey and Scotty Posey, both of Somerville.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
