11-12 to compete in state

The Hartselle American 11-12 Dixie Youth Baseball team won the District 1 Tournament in Decatur.

Hartselle American swept the tournament, going undefeated in five games to claim the District 1 Championship.

They will represent District 1 in the Dixie Youth O-Zone Alabama State Tournament in Centre starting July 23. Team members are, from left, (front) Will Stephenson, Ross Smith, Nicolas Johnson, Jack Hackett, Cy Harris, and Conner McKee, (middle Connor Landers, Eli Carnes, Ben Ferguson, Weston Krohe, Chandler Stinson, and Zack Hobbs, (back) Coaches Nick Hackett, Danny Yocom, and Michael Landers.
