Former resident announces book

Thomas Drinkard, a former resident of Falkville, has announced that his new book “Where There Were No Innocents” is now published and available.

The author’s new book is set in Vietnam 1967-1968. It follows a Green Beret captain, Mack Brinson, through a yearlong tour with the fabled MACV-SOG. The book describes true-to-life action across the border in Laos and street fighting during the infamous Tet Offensive of 1968. The book is available at Amazon.com, Barnes & Noble and Smashwords.com.

The new book is a prequel to Drinkard’s first published work “Piety and Murder.” The author has a new work in the editing stages entitled “Devil’s Blade.”
