Tornado relief project extended to Aug. 7
Over last weekend I had the opportunity to attend an Enrichment Retreat at Somerville Baptist Church where I attend.
The keynote speaker was Mrs. Mina Oglesby who lives in Chattanooga, Tenn. She and her husband Ed have three children and four grandchildren and are members of Hamilton Baptist Church in Chattanooga.
God has blessed her in so many ways. She composes gospel songs and so many doors have been opened for what has become a far-reaching ministry to women in local Baptist churches across the country. Her ministry emphasizes the spiritual principle of Titus 3:3-5, the reality and practicality of the Christian life, and the importance and authority of the local church. If you have the opportunity to hear Mrs. Oglesby, please do so as she is wonderful.
Christian love and sympathy is extended to the family of Marvin Leo Hopper in the loss of their loved one.
