Police look for homeless woman attacker
The Hartselle Police Department is looking for a white man who has been accused attacking Judy Blevins, a local resident who lives out of her car.
Police said a white male approached Blevins’ vehicle, which was parked behind Tillman’s Plumbing. She asked why he was there.
According to a press release, Blevins said he made small talk for a few seconds then started punching her in the face repeatedly. The suspect was also accused of choking her.
The suspect fled to a charcoal van, parked across the street, and left traveling toward Sparkman Street on Hickory Street.
Police described the suspect as a white male in his 40s with no beard but unshaved. The suspect was wearing a white tank top with grey shorts.
Police said that Blevins was treated and released at Hartselle Medical Center. Anyone with information is asked to call investigator at Tania Burgess at HPD.
