Funeral for Annie McCaghren, 70, of Trinity will be Thurs., Aug. 11, at 1 p.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Charles Sparks and Steve Ledbetter officiating.
Burial will be in Enon Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. McCaghren died Mon., Aug. 8, 2011, at her residence. She was born Sept. 26, 1940, in Lawrence County to Ennis and Ellon Gillespie Sandlin. She was a member of Enon Baptist Church and enjoyed working at Walmart after retiring from Redstone Arsenal.
She is survived by her husband, Hoyt McCaghren; a son, Paxton McCaghren of New Orleans, La.; and two granddaughters, Alexandria McCaghren and Gabreille McCaghren.
Pallbearers will be Hunter Tally, Bob Wiley, Wayne Johnson, Tommy Owens, Bobby McCormick and Greg Keenum.
Deacons of Enon Baptist Church will serve as honorary pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Moulton Walmart Relay for Life team.
