McNalley, Gillette to wed in October

Mr. and Mrs. Ricky McNalley of Decatur are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Sophie Kathryn McNalley of Decatur to Zachary Quentin Gillette, son of Ms. Kim Powell of Decatur and Mr. and Mrs. Quentin Gillette of Hartselle.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Dual McNalley of Decatur and the late Mr. James M. McNalley of Decatur and Mr. and Mrs. Jack W. Gilchrist of Decatur.

She is a 2006 graduate of Austin High School and a 2011 graduate of Athens State University with a B.S. degree in education.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Paul M. Gillette of Hartselle, Mr. and Mrs. Robert S. Doherty of Decatur and Mr. and Mrs. David C. Allen of Huntsville.

A 2004 Austin High School graduate, he earned a B.S. degree in accounting from Auburn University in 2011 and is employed with Diversified Services in Hartselle.

The wedding will be Oct. 22 at Decatur Presbyterian Church.
