Priceville Cruise-In set for Aug. 20
At least 400 classic cars will be parked at Veterans Park on Alabama 67 in Priceville Aug. 20 for its 15th annual Cruise-In.
Councilman Tommy Perry said last year’s car show brought in 355 cars, but he said the low turnout was due to rain earlier in the day.
“We’ve had over 400 cars in the past, and we’re hoping to have that many again this year,” Perry said. “It’s definitely one of the biggest car shows in our area.”
The event begins at 6 p.m. and will last until 10 p.m. Registration fee is $10 per vehicle entry, but if you’re not entering a car in show, admission is free.
In addition to the vintage vehicles, Natchez Trace will provide entertainment. There will also be a kiddie play area, refreshments, food, door prize and 50/50 cash drawing.
The show has attracted as many as 2,000 to 3,000 people in past years.
“We feel like we have something for the entire family,” Perry said. “We’d love to have another big crowd this year.”
