Funeral for Kristy Kay Lowery, 39, of Somerville was Sun., Aug. 14, at 1 30 p.m. at Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home with the Rev. Gene Pickern officiating.

Burial was in Hartselle Memory Gardens.

Miss Lowery died Thur., Aug. 11, 2011, at her residence. She was born Dec. 12, 1971, in Morgan County to Edwin Terrel Lowery and Sandra J Gayle Legg lowery. She was saved at Camp Sumatanga and baptized at Unity Baptist Church in Ardmore. She worked for SCI in Huntsville. She was preceded in death by a sister, Donna Ellard, grandparents, Edwin and Ruth Lowery and Henry Legg; and great-grandparents, Rev. O.M. and Arba Ryan.

She is survived by her parents, Terrel and Linda Lowery; two brothers, Michael John Melonas and Donovan Brown; a sister, Jennifer Valera; her grandparents, Harold and Barbara Gentry; and best friend, Glenda Neal.

Pallbearers were Jeremiah Engle, Stuart Ryan, Jon Austin Tuder. Zachariah Legg, Tony Dickerson and Christ Dickerson.
