Lady Hawks fall to MA, Catholic

HUNTSVILLE – The Danville volleyball dropped its first two matches of the season Thursday at Catholic in Huntsville.

The Lady Hawks lost to Madison Academy 25-21, 22-25, 17-15 in a best-of-three match.

Sydni Shelton led the team at the net with six kills, four blocks and 10 digs. Lacey Roberts and Haley Rae Garnett had seven assists apiece.

Jada Callahan led the team in digs with 13.

Catholic swept Danville 25-22, 25-20 in the other match. No stats are available for that match.

Madison Academy beat Catholic 2-1 in the other game of the tri-match.
