Funeral for Esther Ford, 78, of Anderson, S.C., formerly of Hartselle, will be Tues., Aug. 23, at 1 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church with Bro. Ryan Childers officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing.
Visitation will be Mon., Aug. 22, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery
Mrs. Ford died Sat., Aug. 20, 2011, at her daughter’s residence in Hartselle. She was born Feb. 11, 1933, in Morgan County to Edgar Griffen and Lee Tabscott Griffen. She was a member of Andersonville Baptist Church in Anderson, S.C.
She is survived by three daughters, Peggy Langley of Hartselle, Deborah Busby of Anderson, S.C. and Rebecca Miller of Somerville; two sisters, Lilla Mae Turner of Franklin, Tenn. and Mattie Olene Kelly of Decatur.
Pallbearers were Nick Langley, Zachary Merriman, Jacob Merriman, Michael Truss and Wenston McCuen.
