Dove shoot set for this weekend
The “Raising Cain” Dove Shoot will be held Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 3-4.
Cost is $25 per day or $40 for the weekend. Gates open at 10 a.m. and shooting begins at high noon. On Sunday, the shooting begins at dawn and ends at dusk. All hunters 16 and younger must be accompanied by and adult.
The hunt will be located in a 130-acres field of cut corn, pristine dove environment. The land is located 17.2 miles west of the U.S. 31/Alabama 36 intersection. Then take left on County Road 86. Go to end of road.
All proceeds will benefit the Hartselle Quarterback Club J.P. Cain Stadium renovation fund.
A grill will be set up to cook sausage, hotdogs, dove, etc. Satellite TV will be on location to watch football games. Bring your ATVs.
