Fire reported at Sonoco

The Hartselle Fire Department and Hartselle Utilities responded to a possible fire at Sonoco Products today.

Workers were evacuated the facility around 2:20 p.m. and were standing around waiting to return to work while emergency workers cleared up the scene.

No flames were showing. Fire alarms were sounding at the facility.

No immediate word was available on the extent of the fire, the cause or if there were any injuries.
