Roy Allen Mayfield

Roy Allen Mayfield, 64, of Hartselle died Fri., Aug. 19, 2011, at his residence.

A memorial service will be held at a later date with Peck Funeral Home handling the arrangements.

Mr. Mayfield was born Aug. 13, 1947, in Colbert County to Roy Thomas and Ethel Kennamore Mayfield. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War.

He is survived by a son, Michael Mayfield of Falkville; two daughters, Susan Marie Borden of Vinemont and Janine Mayfield Ivey of Muscle Shoals; two brothers, Hoyt Mayfield and Roger Mayfield; three sisters, Mary Cole, Lou Marshall and Imogene Hudson; and seven grandchildren.
